The Demon boys were hosting Keokuk last night . The Demons led 20-14 at the end of the first quarter. In the second quarter Keokuk outscored Washington 16-6 to go up four at halftime and Demon Head Coach Bryce Smeins says it kind of stayed that way the rest of the game. He says they pulled within three with a minute left but the Chiefs made some shots and free throws when they needed to as they won 59-52. For Washington Nic Williams had 13, Anthony Ossman 11, Colton Covington 10, and Collin Steele had 8. The Demons are now 1-1 in the conference and the Chiefs are 2-1.
