The Washington Demon girls used some strong shooting in a nice road win over Durant-Bennett last night. The Demons won 55-28. Head Coach Phil Long was pleased with their shooting performance as they went around 45 percent from the field including 42 percent from beyond the arc. Sydney Greiner and Jenna Krebs led with 12, Regan Enfield had 11, Lauren Vittetoe ended up with 7, and Cassie Holland had 7. Long says it was an emotional start to the game because Durant-Bennett had a moment of silence before the game for Emily Bohnsack. Bohnsack was a junior on the Durant team that was killed in a car wreck Sunday. The Demons improve to 4-1 and will now go on the road for a big conference test playing at Keokuk on Friday.
