The Iowa Board of Nursing Home Administrators has disciplined a former Sigourney Care Center administrator convicted of improper conduct.  According to the Iowa Department of Public Health, Roger Holdeman was convicted of “aggravated misdemeanor crime of Tampering With Records” and was charged with engaging “in unethical conduct when he misrepresented his employment and claimed to be the administrator of an Iowa nursing facility when providing a professional reference for his wife.”  After a late October hearing, it was determined Holdeman be placed on probation for one year, as well as report to the Board of Nursing Home Administration every quarter.  If he is successful in completing the terms of his probation, another hearing will be set as a final disposition of the matter.
