The Jefferson County Board of Supervisors met yesterday and one of the main items the discussed was changes to be made to the Jefferson County Code of Ordinances. Supervisor Richard Reed says it’s mostly about language changes. Reed says there is some discussion on changing lot size, and changing tax language. He says there won’t be many changes to the code of ordinances they just try to clean up the language every five years. The Board also met with the county engineer who reported that snow removal was going well. The Courthouse will be closed Friday for the New Years Holiday.
