Today is the last day for donations to the Girl Scout Troops 9259 and 9244 Mitten Tree.  Library Director Patrick Finney says they have been taking donations of new or gently used mittens, gloves, scarves and hats.  He says they have a goal to fill one Christmas tree with these items.  Finney says donations will be given to children and adults in the area.  If you would like more information regarding the Mitten Tree, contact the Washington Public Library.
