This will be the last weekend that people will have a chance to view the Ainsworth Nativity Display at the Opera House. Michael Zahs with the display says they have over 2,000 different nativity scenes from 100 countries. Zahs says he tries to collect sets that are typical from that part of the world. He says this is not your typical display. Different cultures look at it very differently, for example Hispanic cultures have women at the nativity, and European cultures never have women at the nativity except for Mary. Each display will have a description of what makes it unique. There will also be nativities from Iowa artists and craftsman. The display will be open for the public today and tomorrow from 10am to 8pm and Sunday from 1pm to 5pm.
