The United States Post Office is providing reminders about shipping packages for the holidays. In order for items to be received by Christmas, Washington Post Master John Marshall says the last day for shipping items through priority mail within the U.S. is Tuesday, December 21st.  If you are sending items to a member of the military, the last day you can send the package is Friday, December 10th.  Marshall says sending material to Europe should be sent by Monday, December 13th.  He says if you wish to send any packages, they have shipping materials for free and recommends you get a delivery confirmation or insure it.  For more information, http://www.usps.com/holiday/shippingcalendar.htm.
