Weather prompts basketball postponements

A few basketball games were postponed Saturday because of the winter storm that hit the state. The Washington girls were suppose to host Ottumwa, that was postponed and they plan to discuss a make up dates today. Washington Head Coach Phil Long says they are looking at early January. Also Keota boys and girls were going to Montezuma, they were also postponed and no make up date has been set. A couple of Southeast Conference schools did manage to get their games in. Mount Pleasant boys beat Central Lee 67-27 and Fort Madison beat Burlington Notre Dame 65-62.
