The Washington Demon girls basketball team got a good 42-40 win over 4A Muscatine here in Washington last night. Demon Head Coach Phil Long felt they controlled things leading by eight to eleven points most of the game. Muscatine pulled within two with seconds to go, but the Demons didn’t allow them to get a good look at the bucket. Again the final was 42-40, for the Demons:

The Demons are now 11-3 on the season and will host Fairfield on Friday.
