The Demons girls basketball team completes their first trip through the conference when they head to Mount Pleasant tonight. The Demons come in with only one conference loss and coming off a seven point loss to 4A Ottumwa. For the Panthers this will be their first game out of the holiday break. Demon Head Coach Phil Long says Mount Pleasant doesn’t go quite as deep into their bench as the Demons. The Panthers have junior Taylor Shull who has verbally committed to University of Wisconsin-Green Bay. Long says he suspects they’ll see a lot of zone at least early on as they look to keep Shull out of foul trouble. You’ll be able to hear tonight’s game right here on the one to count on KCII, we’ll be on the air at around 7:20 with the Washington Hyvee Pre-Game Show.
