The Demon girls’ basketball team returns to the floor tonight coming out of the holiday break. Washington will host Ottumwa in a game that was originally scheduled for December 11th, but weather caused it to be moved to this evening. Demon Head Coach Phil Long says this is an Ottumwa that has quite a bit of experience and outside of Williamsburg, might be their toughest opponent of the season. Ottumwa is 5-4 this season and the Demons are 6-2. Long likes having this game tonight, originally the Demons weren’t going to be back in action until Friday when they go to Mount Pleasant, but this will give the Demons a game to shake the holiday rust off.
