The Washington Demons girls basketball team will be back on the floor Tuesday, a little earlier than originally planned. The Demons weren’t suppose to play their first game out of the holiday break Friday when they complete their first trip trough the conference with a road trip to Mount Pleasant. But their December 11th game against Ottumwa was postponed and rescheduled for Tuesday. Washington Head Coach Phil Long feels it’s a blessing in the end, because this will give them a non-conference game to shake some of the rust off before facing a dangerous Mount Pleasant team.
