Washington County has been added to the list of counties disaster declaration for crop loss.  Washington and Keokuk County Emergency Management Coordinator Larry Smith says eight counties were requested to be added in December.  Smith says this disaster request comes after a documented 30 percent loss of one crop on post harvest evaluations.  Smith says the request was granted on Tuesday.  Other counties in southeast Iowa added to the list were Iowa, Johnson and Louisa counties.
