The Highland Husky girls basketball team was hosting Danville last night and used strong first and second quarters to get a 55-43 win. The Huskies outscored Danville 17-6 in the first and 20-7 in the third. For Highland, Anna Sweeting led with 16 points 8 rebounds, 5 steals, and 2 blocks. Brittney Gerot had 14 points and was 2-2 beyond the arc, and Kelsy Dorco had 10 ponits. The Huskies improve to 7-3 overall and are 6-3 in the conference.
