Youths can get involved in 4-H and don’t have to work with animals.  ISU Extension 4-H Youth Coordinator Kati Peiffer says they are offering a program where they can be a part of 4-H through an online basis.  She says Iowa Studio 4-H is classes in technology, photography, audio production, graphic design and digital story telling.  Peiffer says they will also be able to communicate with other youths from across the entire state.  She says anyone in grades 4 through 12 can participate and you do not have to be a member of 4-H.  Peiffer says all participants will also have an opportunity to display their work at fairs just like other 4-H members.  If you would like more information about Iowa Studio 4-H, contact the Washington County Extension.
