The Jefferson County Board of Supervisors met yesterday and decided to allow some exceptions to their new gun law. Last week they approved the resolution that you wouldn’t be able to carry a concealed weapon into the county buildings, including the courthouse, but Jefferson County Supervisor Richard Reed says they had three people including supervisor Stephen Bergmeier petition to be allowed to have weapons in the courthouse. Reed says in a two to one vote the exemption passed with Reed voting against.
