After a two hour deliberation The Jefferson County Supervisors made a decision on whether weapons can be in county buildings or not. Supervisor Richard Reed says the new law makes people concerned now that that guns will be allowed in county buildings. The supervisors passed a resolution that people will not be able to carry concealed weapons into county buildings. Reed says the way he sees it they will never be able to stop the crazy person from bringing a concealed weapon in. This is just to tell the normal person that it is lawful to carry a weapon but just leave it in your car before coming into the courthouse. The Council will next be meeting on Wednesday at 5:30pm at the Law Center for a Service Agency meeting.
