The Keokuk County Board of Supervisors are taking the next steps in getting a new county engineer. Supervisor Michael Berg says the county attorney has come up with a contract to share an engineer with Washington County. They have to wait for Washington County to meet today to get their approval on the contract before they can go forward. Berg says they only want to share an engineer for a few months until they are able to hire one full time. He says they are currently working on writing up an application for the position.
