The Washington Chamber is presenting the next in their Learn at Lunch series. Today, this month’s event titled “Emergency Preparedness” is being held at the ISU Extension Office. Ann Moore with the Washington Chamber says there are many kinds of disasters that have different effects on survivors in our communities. Moore says this presentation will review and describe the different levels of preparedness, the Washington County Preparedness team’s formation and future activities and planning efforts. She says this event is free for Chamber members and the cost for lunch is $7.
