Iowa’s Eighth District Court Judge has hopes for the state Supreme Court.  Judge Michael R. Mullins from Washington has applied to fill one of three vacancies on the Iowa Supreme Court.  Judge Mullins is one of 61 applicants vying for the positions.  The vacancies came from a non-retention vote in last November’s election.  Mullins was appointed as a District Judge in Washington in 2002.  The nomination process begins today in the Iowa Supreme Court Courtroom.  To view the applicant’s resumes and background information, click here.
