The Washington Community School District is looking to hire two teachers. Superintendent Dr. Mike Jorgensen says these new positions will be a vocal music teacher that will teach both for Washington and at St. James and the other will be a teacher of Family and Consumer Science in Junior High. Dr. Jorgensen says these positions were there in the past and were eliminated because of budget cuts but are now being reinstated. These new positions will be hired to start for the 2011-2012 school year.
