There will be maintenance being performed on the railroad tracks in Washington today. According to Canadian Pacific, the maintenance work is affecting the crossings at 4th Avenue and 12th Avenue. The warning lights at both of these crossings will not be working and you are to use extra caution throughout the day. A “flagger” will be at each crossing to warn motorists of an oncoming train. The maintenance work will begin at 9:00 and end at 4:00 this afternoon.
