The Washington County Board of Supervisors wants to rescind their resolution dealing with weapons.  The Board passed the resolution at their meeting two weeks ago after a new state law allowing people to carry unconcealed weapons.  The resolution makes it illegal to carry firearms inside official County buildings.  Supervisor Adam Mangold says he is concerned about the County’s ability to enforce the resolution and did not feel it was consistent with safety issues. Mangold as well as other supervisors said they received negative feedback from employees and residents about what they passed.  The Board intends to vote on a resolution next Tuesday to rescind the original resolution.
