The Washington School Board has approved the holding of a special election for a Physical Plant Equipment Levy. Dr. Mike Jorgensen says the currently levy is $1.00 per $1,000 of the assessed value of taxable property within the school district. He says he is asking for the same amount in this election. Dr. Jorgensen says there will be one polling place in Washington and one in Brighton. The election will take place April 5th from 7:00 am to 8:00 pm.
