A man from Riverside has been promoted in the U.S. Army. Robert J. Weber has been promoted to the rank of First Sergeant. Weber who is a recruiter for the Army has 24 years of military service. He is assigned to the Iowa National Guard based in Cedar Rapids. He graduated from Sigourney Community High School in 1984 and is the son of Ronald J. and Carolyn K. Weber of Washington.
