The Demon girls basketball team used an up tempo game to take control on the road against Central Lee last night. It was a one point game at the end of the first quarter but Washington had a strong second quarter to take a 33-21 lead in at halftime. In the third quarter the Demons opened the game up and had an 18 points lead, when both teams hit a lull spot with several empty possessions. Washington was up 45-30 going into the fourth and won 71-40. Sydney Greiner led the way with 20 points including four threes, Lauren Vittetoe had 19 points with three threes, Regan Enfield also hit three threes as part of her 12 points. Washington is now 9-3 on the season.
