In the girls game, Mid-Prairie stayed just within striking distance for much of it but West Branch got the eleven point win. The West Branch Bears had an eleven point lead at halftime, Mid-Prairie pulled within six going into the fourth but the Bears would win 60-49. Golden Hawk Head Coach Marc Pennington felt the West Branch pressure gave them problems. Mariah Swartzendruber had 12 to lead Mid-Prairie, Erika Murphy had 10 and Kattie Redlinger finished with 8 points.
