Windstream reported an outage of Internet service in the area yesterday.  A technical support representative says there was an unknown issue in the area and most service was restored approximately 11:30 last night.  Some static IP customers are still experiencing outages and Windstream hopes to have service restored by tonight.  During the outages in the area, KCII Radio’s internet access today was powered by Archer Appliance and Electronics and U.S. Cellular.  KCII will continue to monitor this story and will bring you more information when it becomes official.
