At the Winfield Mt. Union School Board meeting on Wednesday the school board decided to continue sharing agreements with WACO Schools. Superintendent Patrick Coen says the first agreement was the continued sharing of the baseball team. He says last year they started an agreement with WACO schools, and that went incredibly well. He spoke with the baseball coach, athletic directors, and principals of both schools and everyone wanted to keep the agreement. The baseball teams will continue to be combined. No other athletic teams are combined at this time between the two schools. The board also agreed to continue their shared Superintendent Agreement with WACO by a five to zero vote.
