The Winfield-Mt. Union School District is bringing back FFA to the school. Superintendent Patrick Coen says it will be a shared program with the WACO School District. They have recently hired Mrs. Amanda Brown to be their new FFA teacher. Coen says it’s generating a lot of excitement in the community. He says this gives their students who have an agricultural background more opportunities and it brings in more outside partnerships. Coen says the Henry County Cattlemen’s Association, Pork Producers and Henry County Farm Bureau have stepped up and said that they are excited for an FFA Chapter to come back.
