The blizzard cancelled or postponed area high school events last night, many were conference match ups so they’ll likely be made up. The Mid-Prairie boys were suppose to host Fairfield, they’ll play that game next Thursday. Another area match up that has already been rescheduled is the IMS-Mediapolis doubleheader. They will make it up on Monday. The weather could also disrupt games tomorrow. Typically Tuesdays and Fridays are the busiest nights of the week for basketball, but tomorrow night is a busy one for the Super Conference. With the Girls Super Conference Shootout scheduled for Friday, the boys teams are scheduled to play regular conference games tomorrow instead of Friday. The blizzard also caused the cancellation of the Demon wrestlers’ final regular season date. Washington was suppose to go to Pella for a triangular with Pella and Sigourney, because the post season starts Saturday, it will not be made up.
