The Washington County Board of Supervisors are planning on meeting tomorrow and during their meeting they will be considering a contribution for Geode Resource Conservation and Development group.  Geode RC&D is non-profit entity that assists the people of southeast Iowa in protecting and developing the area’s economic, natural and social resources.  Supervisor Wes Rich says he is concerned about the amount of funding requested by the group during last week’s meeting.  He does mention that he would like to see some support go to the group.  The Supervisors will also discuss a request for funding for Washington Main Street.  Bid letting dates for the county Secondary Roads Improvement Projects will be established and the supervisors will also be reviewing the fiscal year 2011-2012 county budget.  The Supervisors will be holding work sessions tomorrow afternoon and on Wednesday and Friday as they work on finalizing the county budget.  The Board of Supervisors will meet tomorrow morning at 9:30 in the Washington County Courthouse.
