The IMS girls basketball team has advanced in the postseason with a win over WACO. Playing in Wayland, IMS led most of the first half and had a ten point lead in the second quarter. WACO was down 29-21 going into the fourth, and would tie the game at 32 with two minutes to go. IMS Head Coach Chris Nachtigall says heading in they wanted to disrupt the Warriors game underneath and he felt they were able to do that with pressure on the perimeter. Towards the end he says they had some big trips to the line Carly Unruh, Olivia Yutzy and Kristin Davis. IMS won 41-36.

For IMS:
Carly Unruh 12 points
Olivia Yutzy 12 points

For WACO:
