A vehicle and foot chase yesterday resulted in a North Liberty man being arrested on multiple charges in Washington.  The Washington County Safety Center received a call at 11:27 yesterday morning of a report of a male subject acting erratic and displaying threatening behavior.  The male subject left in a black Mazda.

The subject failed to stop for responding officers and fled the area.  They then received a call from a residence advising the vehicle had been involved in an accident and was stuck in a yard at North 3rd Avenue and North 12th Street.

Law enforcement responded and the subject then fled on foot and was taken into custody at 1030 North Iowa Avenue.  Arrested was Scot Andrew Flora of North Liberty.

He is being charged with eluding, theft in the 2nd degree and possession of a controlled substance.  Charges for operating while intoxicated are pending lab results.  KCII will bring you more information on this story as it becomes official.
