The Washington County 4-H is sponsoring an IJBBA Sanctioned Cattle Show next month. Youth Coordinator Kati Peiffer says the Iowa Junior Beef Breeds Association is a program that provides an opportunity for local kids to come out and compete with other children from across the county and state to help them get their livestock ready for the county fair. She says if any purebred livestock is going to be presented, any required health papers and the breed registration papers have to be given.

Peiffer says if youth register by April 1st, the cost is $30. The cattle show is on Saturday April 16th at the Washington Fairgrounds beginning at 11:30 am.
