The next in the monthly piano concerts at the Washington Public Library is celebrating Black History Month.  Jean Potratz a volunteer with the noon time concert series says the concert will be a combination of both music and poetry.  She says Bob McConnell from the Southeast Iowa Symphony Orchestra, pianist Susan See and flutist Madeline Sloat will be providing the music from William Grant Still.

Poetry from Maya Angelou will also be read by Lynn Loula during the concert.  Potratz says since the library received their grand piano last fall, they have been presenting these monthly concerts.  This concert will be taking place tomorrow from 12:15 to 12:45 on the 2nd floor of the Washington Public Library.
