The Iowa Pork Producers Association, along with the Iowa Pork Center and ISU Extension are holding regional pork conferences around the state. Ron Birkenholz with the Iowa Pork Producers Association tells KCII News that the conferences will focus on a wide variety of topics of interest to Iowa pork producers. He says “the more you know about the complexities of pork production, the more successful and profitable you’ll be as a pork producer.”
The southeast Iowa conference will be held in Ainsworth, on Friday, March 11 at Marr Park. Birkenholz shares that Ainsworth was chosen as the location for this year’s regional event because of the excellent facility as well as the success and turnout at the conference that was held there last year.
