The Washington Chamber of Commerce hosted their second Legislative Briefing over the weekend.  On Saturday morning, State Representative Jarad Klein was in attendance to answer questions from about 25 members of the public.  There was a wide range of topics discussed from tax reform, low income health services to economic development.

Representative Klein said he was very pleased with the turnout and is looking forward to next month’s meeting.  The final legislative briefing will take place in the 2nd Floor courtroom of the Washington County Courthouse on Saturday, March 19th.  Listen for highlights of Saturday’s Legislative Briefing during today’s In Touch With Southeast Iowa program.
