The Washington City Council is holding a special meeting tonight to discuss leasing of land. During tonight’s meeting, the council will hold a public hearing regarding the leasing of 90 acres of farm ground off of West 18th Street.  Mayor Sandra Johnson says all proposals are due by noon today at City Hall in a sealed envelope.

She says they will be reviewed during the meeting.  The special City Council meeting takes places in the old library at 6:00 tonight.
