The National Weather Service’s Quad Cities office has announced they are holding two storm spotter training classes in the area.  The first class will be held in Sigourney on Monday, March 14th in the Sigourney Public Library.   The second class will be held in Washington on Tuesday, April 5th in the Washington Public Library.

Both classes will be held.from 6:30 to 8:30 pm.  Classes are free and will focus on things like storm structure, spotter positioning, safety and damage reporting. The course is geared toward emergency personnel but is open to the general public.
