The Washington and Wellman Y’s held a fundraiser this past weekend and was well attended.  Washington Y Executive Director Greg Woller says they held a fundraiser for their Annual Sustaining Drive.  Woller says this is now the new name for their Strong Kids Program.  He says the Annual Sustaining Drive provides scholarships for families who are unable to afford the full membership fees and programs.  Woller says about 130 people attended the progressive dinner.  He says the evening started at the Y in Wellman with hors d’oeuvres and ended at the Washington Y with desserts and an auction.  He says they raised about $7,000 over the course of the evening for their Annual Sustaining Drive.
