The WACO School District has received computers for classroom use.  School Board President Tim Graber says they have been given 60 desktop computers from Rockwell Collins in Cedar Rapids.  Graber says the computers are in use now in different classrooms.

He says the only expense was picking them up in Cedar Rapids, and uploading software for them to be used in the schools.  Graber adds they have also purchased 40 laptops and white boards with funds from the Washington County Riverboat Foundation.

He says they received a grant last fall to purchase the laptops.  Graber says the white boards are in use in every classroom in the elementary school in Crawfordsville.
