The Washington Junior High School is receiving a donation to be used for items in the school. Washington Junior High principal Curt Mayer says Jim Cuddeback with the America’s Farmers Grow Communities and Jeff Hedges from Monsanto will be on hand as part of the Washington Community School District’s meeting to formally present a check of $2,500 to the school district.
Mayer says the money will be used for new science equipment and for classroom calculators. He says they chose this designation since Cuddeback was a former science teacher. Mayer says they will officially receive the money after the presentation Wednesday night.
