The Washington School Board held their monthly meeting last night and heard an update on the construction of the new high school.  Project Coordinator Dan Culp said the project is still on schedule.  Culp says the steel frame with the roof joist and all decking is planned to start being built around February 21st.

He adds the gym precast panels are ready and are scheduled to start being built next week.  Culp says the overall cost of the construction project is $15 million.

He shared the targeted completion date of the project is July 30, 2012.  The next construction update will be shared during next month’s regular school board meeting.
