The Washington County Engineer’s Office is announcing the closure of the Crooked Creek Bridge on County Highway G-38 also known as old Highway 92 beginning Monday. County Engineer David Patterson says Iowa Bridge and Culvert will be grading and placing pavement approaches to the recently constructed bridge. He says they will also be installing guardrail and painting the roadway lines.
Patterson adds the construction is dependent on the weather, but should be completed in approximately 4 weeks. He notes this construction is scheduled to be completed prior to the closure of the bridge over Crooked Creek on Highway 92.
Detours will be in place on County Highway W-38 and Highway 92 during construction. If you have any questions, contact the Washington County Engineer’s Office.
