The Washington Chamber of Commerce held their annual awards dinner last night and had everyone in attendance heard from keynote speaker, Kirkwood Community College President Dr. Mick Starcevich.
During the address, Dr. Starcevich spoke about the success of Kirkwood Community College. The highlight of the evening was the awards presented by Main Street Washington and the Washington Chamber.
Main Street Washington’s Outstanding Volunteer Award was presented to April Cuddeback and the Washington Chamber’s 2010 Citizen of the Year Award was given to Ed Raber. Washington Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Tim Coffey says they are grateful for the support and volunteer hours that help their organizations to make Washington a better place to live and work. The dinner was held at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Washington.

Washington Chamber’s 2010 Citizen of the Year – Ed Raber
Washington Chamber’s 2010 Community Service Award – Rachel Nicola and Dave Stoufer
Recognition was presented to Dean Kurtz for his tenure on the Washington Chamber Board
