With the calendar saying it’s spring it’s time to take a look back at the winter season. WeatherEye Meteorologist Jim Marusak says we experienced colder than normal temperatures and more snowfall than usual. He says southeast Iowa was an average of three to five degrees cooler because of colder than normal conditions in Canada.
Marusak adds we received near to less than drier than normal conditions. He says we received a little bit more snow and less in terms of rainfall. Marusak says we should start to get back to near normal to above temps in late May or early June.
