High school juniors are eligible to apply for a college scholarship through tomorrow. Regional ISU Extension Education Director Gene Mohling says the Herbert Hoover Uncommon Student Award is a $5000 college scholarship program.  He says any high school junior in an Iowa high school or home school program can apply for this scholarship sponsored by the Herbert Hoover Presidential Library Association in West Branch.

Mohling says this Association honors up to 15 students who plan and accomplish a project of their own choosing and design.  He notes students are not evaluated on the basis of grades, test scores or financial need.

This scholarship application deadline is tomorrow and for more information contact your county Extension office or click here.
