The Columbus Community School Board met in regular session Monday night and established the calendar for next school year. Superintendent Rich Bridenstine says a public hearing was held regarding next year’s school calendar during their meeting and the Board unanimously approved the calendar. The school year will begin August 17th.
Bridenstine says they are starting the year on that date so they can complete the first semester by Christmas break. The next regular Columbus Community School Board meeting will be Monday, April 18th in the Roundy Elementary School Library.
