The Washington Demon boys track and field team will be in Aimes tonight competing at the Iowa State Indoor Meet. Demon Head Coach Steve Roth says he’s taking around 11 kids. He says mainly he wants to get a look at times compared to last Friday’s Demon Indoor, especially since they’ll be running tired after a pretty good workout yesterday. He says they don’t plan to stay for the whole meet and hope to try to get home at a reasonable time. The last event is the 4×4 and is scheduled to start at around a quarter until ten, but he says historically it’s been more like a quarter until eleven. So they intend to leave after the 4×1.
